Chilli Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Boneless Chicken
  • Onion
  • Capsicum (Green Pepper)
  • Cabbage
  • Green / Red Chilli
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Corn Starch
  • Egg
  • Cooking Oil
  • Spices: Salt, Black Pepper, Red Chilli Powder
  • Sauces: Chilli Sauce, Soy Sauce, Vinegar
  • Optional: Spring Onion, Sesame Seeds

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Cut boneless chicken into long, slender finger-size pieces
  2. In a mixing bowl, add chicken, 1 egg and 1-2 spoons of corn starch
  3. Add salt, black pepper, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste
  4. Mix well
  5. Set chicken aside to marinate for 15-20 mins
  6. Slice and dice onions, capsicum, cabbage, green / red chilli
  7. In frying pan, deep fry marinated chicken fingers till golden brown
  8. Soak excess oil with tissue paper
  9. In sauce pan, add 2 spoons of cooking oil
  10. Add vegetables: onions, capsicum, cabbage, green / red chilli
  11. Add ginger garlic paste
  12. Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar
  13. Mix well
  14. Add fried chicken pieces
  15. Add salt, black pepper, red chilli powder as per taste
  16. Optionally, add chopped spring onion and sesame seeds if available for extra flavor
  17. Mix well
  18. Serve hot

8. Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar
