Ingredients:
- Idli / Dosa Batter
- Onion
- Tomato
- Green Chilli
- Fresh Coriander
- Cooking Oil
- Spices: Salt, Red Chilli Powder
Cooking Instructions:
- Prepare dosa batter: add salt, water as required to make smooth consistent mixture
- In a mixing bowl, add chopped onions, tomato, fresh coriander and green chilli
- Add salt, red chilli powder and mix well
- Heat flat tawa pan
- Spread oil evenly on tawa
- Add dosa batter and move ladle in spiral motion to spread batter evenly into round shape
- Sprinkle onion, tomato salad on dosa batter and press gently
- Fry uttapam on both sides till golden crispy brown
- Serve with coconut chutney or sambar
