Bhendi Fry


  • Fresh Okra or Bhendi
  • Fresh Coriander
  • Curry Leaves
  • Cooking Oil
  • Spices: Salt, Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder, Black Pepper, Cumin (Jira) Powder, Coriander (Dhania) Powder, Garam Masala or Sabji Masala

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Cut Okra (Bhendi) vertically into long slender pieces.
  2. In a frying pan, add 1-2 spoons of cooking oil
  3. Add curry leaves, sliced okra and fresh coriander
  4. Add spices: salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, black pepper, cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala or sabji masala
  5. Fry well till okra becomes soft and tender
  6. Serve hot
