Palak Paneer


  • Fresh Spinach or Palak
  • Paneer or Cottage Cheese
  • Onion
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Fresh Cream
  • Fresh Coriander
  • Cooking Oil or Butter
  • Spices: Salt, Turmeric, Cumin (Jira) Powder, Coriander (Dhania) Powder, Black Pepper, Red Chilli Powder

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In a mixer or juicer, add fresh spinach leaves with 1/2 onion and some fresh cream
  2. Make spinach puree
  3. In a sauce pan, add cooking oil or butter
  4. Add chopped onions and paneer (cottage cheese)
  5. Add ginger garlic paste and fresh coriander
  6. Fry paneer and onions till golden brown
  7. Add spinach puree
  8. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, black pepper, cumin powder, coriander powder for taste
  9. Add water and cream as necessary
  10. Mix well
  11. Cook spinach for 3-5 mins

3. Frying Paneer, Onions with Ginger Garlic Paste and Fresh Coriander

4. Add Spinach Puree and Spices
