Veg Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Basmati Rice
  • Vegetables: Carrot, Cauliflower, Green Beans, Green Peas, Onion, Tomato, Fresh Coriander
  • Pure Ghee (or Butter)
  • Spices: Cinnamon Stick, Pepper Corns (Black Pepper), Clove, Cardamom, Salt, Black Pepper Powder, Cumin Powder

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In rice cooker, add basmati rice and water
  2. Soak rice for 10-15 mins
  3. Dice Onions, Tomato, Carrots and Green Beans
  4. Separate Cauliflower buds into medium size pieces
  5. Add chopped vegetables into rice cooker
  6. Add green peas
  7. Add sufficient water
  8. Add spices: cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, black pepper corns
  9. Add salt, black pepper powder as per taste
  10. Add 2 spoons of pure ghee or butter
  11. Cover with lid and cook rice for 10-15 mins
  12. Add freshly chopped coriander
  13. Serve hot with daal fry or daal tadka
