Ingredients:
- Sabudana (Sago or Tapioca)
- Boiled Potatoes
- Fresh Coriander
- Green Chilli
- Pudina (Mint) Leaves
- Ginger Paste
- Lemon Juice
- Cooking Oil
- Curd
- Spices: Salt, Cumin Powder and / or Seeds
Cooking Instructions:
- Soak Sabudana in water overnight or at least for 4-5 hours
- Mash boiled potatoes
- Mix mashed potatoes with soaked sabudana
- Add finely chopped fresh coriander and green chilli
- Add salt, cumin powder or seeds
- Add lemon juice
- Mix well
- Grease palms with few drops of oil
- Mould sabudana mixture into round disc-shaped balls
- Deep fry in hot cooking oil till crispy golden brown
- In a mixer, grind fresh coriander, pudina or mint leaves, 1/2 green chilli, salt, ginger, cumin seeds and 1 spoon of curd to make pudina (mint) chutney
- Serve hot sabudana vada with pudina chutney
Cooking Preparations:
- Sabudana soaked overnight

2. Mash Boiled Potatoes

3. Mix Sabudana with Mashed Potato

4. Adding fresh coriander, green chilli, salt, cumin seeds and powder for taste

5. Moulding mixture into disc-shaped balls

6. Frying in hot cooking oil till crispy golden-brown
