Chicken Curry


  1. Chicken (preferable Boneless or Legs)
  2. Onion
  3. Tomato
  4. Fresh Coriander
  5. Curry Leaves
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste
  7. Lemon Juice
  8. Cooking Oil
  9. Curd or Yogurt
  10. Spices: Salt, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Red Chilli Powder or Paprika, Cumin (Jira) Powder, Coriander (Dhania) Powder, Garam Masala, Cashews, Cloves, Peppercorns, Elaichi (Cardamom)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In a mixer, make curry paste with Onions, Tomatoes, Peppercorns, Cloves, Cashews, Elaichi and Fresh Coriander
  2. Marinate chicken with salt, turmeric, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, black pepper, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala and 2-3 spoons of curd or yogurt
  3. In sauce pan, add cooking oil and curry leaves
  4. Add curry paste
  5. Add spices
  6. Add pieces of marinated chicken
  7. Mix well
  8. Add sufficient water
  9. Cover with Lid and cook chicken for 15-20 mins
  10. Serve with plain or ghee rice
