Pani Puri

Ingredients:

  • Puris
  • Green Peas
  • Fresh Coriander
  • Green Chilli
  • Fresh Mint Leaves (Pudina)
  • Ginger Paste
  • Shev Bhujia
  • Spices: Salt, Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder, Coriander (Dhania) Powder, Chaat Masala

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In mixer, add fresh coriander, green chilli and pudina (mint leaves) to make green chutney
  2. Add salt, water and chaat masala into green chutney to make green chutney sauce
  3. Cook green peas in pressure cooker
  4. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, ginger paste and fresh coriander to make peas curry
  5. Break puris by putting holes in the center
  6. Fill puris with peas curry and green chutney sauce
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander and shev bhujia

Optional Sweet Tamarind Sauce: Add water and jaggery powder to tamarind paste to make sweet tamarind syrup. Use this tamarind sauce to add extra sweet and sour flavor, in addition to the green spicy sauce..
