Ingredients:
- Rice
- Prawns (cleaned, deveined)
- 1/2 Onion
- 1/2 Tomato
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- Fresh Coriander
- Lemon Juice
- Cooking Oil
- Pure Ghee
- Spices: Salt, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Red Chilli Powder, Cumin (Jira) Powder, Coriander (Dhania) Powder, Garam Masala, Cardamom (Elaichi), Cloves
Cooking Instructions:
- In a mixer, make curry paste with onion, tomato, fresh coriander, 2-3 pieces of cardamom and cloves
- In rice cooker, add basmati rice and sufficient water
- Add spices to rice: salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, black pepper, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala
- In sauce pan, add cooking oil, then curry paste and ginger garlic paste
- Cook prawns in curry
- Add spices as necessary
- Once rice is partially cooked, add prawns curry into rice
- Add lemon juice and fresh coriander
- Add 2 spoons of pure ghee
