  • Spices: Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric, Garam Masala, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder

Cooking Instructions:

Lentil Curry

  1. Soak mott beans for 1-2 nights in wet cloth until sprouted
  2. Chop Onions, Tomatoes, Green Chilli and Fresh Coriander
  3. In pressure cooker, add 2 spoons of cooking oil
  4. Add chopped onions, tomato, green chilli
  5. Add sprouted beans
  6. Add spices: salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger paste and black pepper
  7. Add freshly chopped coriander
  8. Mix well
  9. Add sufficient water and cook until beans turn soft and mushy


  1. Soak flattened rice (poha)
  2. Cut potatoes into thin slices
  3. In frying pan, add 1 spoon of cooking oil and sliced potatoes
  4. Add green chilli
  5. Fry potatoes until they are fully cooked and turn soft
  6. Add chopped onions and fresh coriander
  7. Add turmeric
  8. Mix well
  9. Add soaked poha (flattened rice)
  10. Add salt, lemon juice as per taste
  11. Mix well


  1. In serving bowl, add layer of poha
  2. Add hot lentil curry
  3. Add shev
  4. Garnish with fresh coriander and sprinkle of lemon juice
  5. Serve with Bread
